Hariyali Beej Bhanda

We've been here in Azadpur Village for quite some time now. Dealing with seeds isn't just about selling packets; it’s about knowing what grows well. People come to A-121 at the New Subzi Mandi looking for something specific for their fields or just their small home patches. Hariyali Beej Bhanda is basically a place where we keep stock of what the farmers need around here. Sometimes the shop is crowded, especially early in the morning when the mandi is busiest. We try to keep things organized but it’s a busy spot. If you walk past the Badola area, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s mostly just us chatting with regulars about the weather or how the last crop turned out. We don’t do fancy ads. Most people know us by word of mouth. My family has been involved in this for a while, so the smell of seeds and fertilizer is just normal to us. It’s hard work, lifting bags and making sure the storage is dry so nothing spoils. We don’t have a big office, just the counter and the stacks. If someone needs a bit of advice on when to sow, we tell them what we know from experience. It’s a simple way of living, really. Just keeping the shop open, helping people get their planting done, and staying part of the local market life here in Delhi. It’s what we do day in and day out.
