About Harisons Heritage – Fashion & Trends in New Delhi
Central Market in Lajpat Nagar-ii is always a bit of a madhouse. Our place is at I-30, right in the middle of all that noise and confusion. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how these markets are. It’s constant shouting, people bargaining over every rupee, and the smell of street food from the vendors. We open up the shutters every morning and start setting things out on the racks. Harisons Heritage has been around this area for a good bit now. We don't have a big corporate story to tell anyone. We just sell stuff. The shelves are usually packed tight with goods. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to breathe, let alone walk around properly. We get all sorts of customers, from people who live around the corner to tourists who look a bit lost in the crowd. It's a lot of standing on your feet all day long. My back usually aches by the time we close up and head home. We don't spend much on advertising because the market brings people in anyway. It’s a practical way to run a business. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall across the way to keep us going. We’ve got a lot of history in this market, and we've seen it change quite a bit over the years. But at the end of the day, we’re just here at I-30 doing our thing. It’s a simple enough life.
