Happy Tots Public School

Our school is at F-336 on the Old M.B. Road in the Lado Sarai and Mehrauli area. This part of Delhi has a lot of history and the streets are often quite narrow and very busy. The building is right there among the local shops, small businesses, and houses. We’ve been here for years, serving the families in the neighborhood. It’s a public school, so we take in kids from all around the area. The building has several floors, and we use every bit of space we have to make room for classes. It’s not a massive campus with big fields, but we make do with what is available in this part of town. The classrooms are simple, with basic desks and chairs for the students. We try to keep the windows open for light and air, although the dust from the road can be a bit of a problem during the day. The noise of the traffic on M.B. Road is something we’ve all just gotten used to over time. During the breaks, you can see the students standing in the balconies or the small courtyard area downstairs. Our staff is local, and we have a very casual, down-to-earth way of doing things. We don't use a lot of fancy technology or computers, just books, pens, and some old-fashioned teaching methods that work. It’s a place where children from the local community can get their schooling done close to home. We see a lot of siblings coming through the school over the years. It’s just a basic, honest school in a very old part of the city.
