Happy Model School

We are located over in B-2 Janakpuri. It’s a standard neighborhood school and we’ve been part of this community for a good number of years. You can’t miss the gate if you’re walking down the street. It’s a busy area with houses and shops all around us. The school building isn't anything too modern, just bricks and mortar that have held up well over time. We have classrooms filled with benches and desks that have seen a lot of use. The morning assembly is usually the loudest part of the day. We have a small courtyard where the kids play during their breaks. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is out at once, but they don’t seem to care. Our teachers are local people who know the families in Janakpuri. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just put up the notice board and talk to the parents when they come by. There’s always some paperwork to do or a classroom that needs a new coat of paint. We just keep the place running day by day. It’s a steady job and we like seeing the kids grow up from small children to teenagers. It’s just a normal part of life here in this part of Delhi. We aren't doing anything fancy, just making sure the kids have a place to learn and some structure in their day. It's a long day for everyone, but we've gotten into a good rhythm over the years.
