Hanlokrok High School

The street where we are based is 1/11212, Gali Number 12 in Shahdara. It is a very busy area in Delhi, so there is always a lot of movement outside our gates. We have been here for quite some time now, and the school has become a part of the local life. Since it is a school, you will always hear the shouting of kids and the ringing of bells throughout the day. The building itself is not very huge, but we make every room work for the students who come here from the neighborhood. Some of our teachers have been with us for years, while others are newer to the profession. Our benches sometimes wobble a bit and the blackboards often need a good scrubbing, but it is just a normal, practical place for learning. Parents from the local community drop by often to talk about their kids or ask questions. We do not have any big fancy gates or shiny fountains in the front. It is just the classrooms and the stairs. We try to keep things organized even when it gets a bit chaotic during the lunch breaks. Everyone around here knows where Gali 12 is, so we are easy to find. We just do our bit for the kids in Delhi 110032. It is not some corporate office, just a school for local boys and girls who live nearby. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows to keep things going.
