Handmade Collections

Our little spot is at K- 29/ 1 in West Ghonda, right on Street No. 26. Handmade Collections started because we liked making things with our hands and it just grew from there into a real business. The street is narrow and sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time getting through but we make it work. We have shelves filled with all sorts of things we have put together over the months. It is not a huge warehouse, just a decent space where we can sit and work. There is usually some music playing in the background while we sew or glue things. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get really busy around the holidays. We don't use big fancy machines for everything, so you can tell a person actually touched what we make. It gets a bit cluttered with scraps of material and tools lying around but we know where everything is. The neighbors drop by once in a while just to say hello or see what is new. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation, we just like being part of the neighborhood here in West Ghonda. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the back door so we have to move the boxes. It is just a normal day-to-day life for us here on Street 26, trying to keep up with the orders and staying busy.
