Halima High School

Halima High School is located at 34/8/1 on Yamuna Road in the Palla area of Delhi. This part of the city is a bit different because it feels a little more open and is closer to the river. The address can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the village roads around here. It’s a high school, so we have students who have been with us for many years as they grew up. The building has been through a lot of seasons, and the walls show a bit of wear and tear from the rain and the sun. We have a decent amount of space compared to some of the schools in the middle of the city. In the mornings, you can see the students arriving, many of them on bicycles because it’s a bit of a distance from the main transport hubs. The air feels a bit better here than in the center of Delhi, which is a nice change. We have a small office where we keep all the records and talk to parents when they drop by. The classrooms are filled with old-style benches and the usual school smell of chalk and paper. We don't have anything too modern, just the basics for teaching. It’s a quiet routine most days, and we just try to keep the building in good shape and the students focused on their books while the day passes.
