Hace India Limited has its office at B-505 Ansal Chambers-1 in Bhikaji Cama Place. If you’ve ever been to Bhikaji Cama Place, you know it’s a massive complex with a lot of different offices and people constantly rushing around. We are on the fifth floor, and the view is mostly of other office buildings. Our space is pretty functional—just some desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. It gets quite busy during the week, and the lifts can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour or when everyone is leaving. We’ve been based here in Delhi for a long time now. The office is where we handle all the administrative and coordination work for the company. It’s not a very big room, so it can feel a bit crowded when the whole team is in at the same time. We usually grab something to eat from the small food stalls downstairs; there’s some good local food if you know which ones to pick. We don’t do a lot of fancy marketing or anything like that. We just focus on the business at hand and keeping our files in order. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles in the peak of summer heat, but we manage. Most of our days are spent on the phone or working through different spreadsheets. It’s a standard office life, with all the usual ups and downs of working in a big commercial hub. We’ve grown accustomed to the rhythm of this place and the people in it.
