H. P. Global Public School

H. P. Global Public School is situated at 693-342, very close to the Jahangir Puri Metro Station in Delhi. Being so near the station means there is a constant stream of people and rickshaws right outside our front door. It can get pretty noisy with the metro announcements and the traffic, but we’ve all gotten used to it by now. The school building is a regular concrete structure, and we try to keep it as tidy as we can. In the mornings, the street is packed with students coming from different parts of the area. Some of them walk from the nearby blocks, while others come from further away using the metro. We don't have a massive field for sports, but there is a small courtyard where the kids gather for their morning assembly. The classrooms are simple and have the basic stuff like wooden benches and whiteboards. During the summer, it gets quite warm inside, so we make sure all the fans are running at full speed. The staff room is a small space where the teachers keep their bags and have a cup of tea during their break. We spend most of our time just managing the daily routine, making sure the kids are in their classes and the lessons are moving along. It’s a busy, practical sort of place in a crowded part of Delhi, and we just keep things going as best as we can every single day.
