You’ll find us at 108, Bangla Sahib Marg, which is right in the heart of Connaught Place. Being in such a central part of Delhi means there is always something going on outside our doors. The traffic is constant, and you can hear the horns even from the back classrooms. Our building has been here for quite a while and it shows its age in some spots. We have high ceilings and old-style windows that let in a lot of dust from the street. The location is convenient for anyone coming by metro since Rajiv Chowk isn't too far away. We are a high school, so our students are older and preparing for their board exams. The atmosphere is usually a bit more serious because of that. We have a library that’s filled with old books and some newer ones too. The staff room is a bit cramped, especially during break times when everyone is trying to have their lunch. We don't have a huge playground, which is expected for a school in the middle of CP. We make do with the space we have. The gate is usually guarded because the area is so busy with pedestrians and tourists. It's a busy life here, but we are used to the pace. We just keep the school running as best as we can every single day. There’s always some maintenance to do, like fixing a leaky tap or painting a wall.
