Gyansagar High School

Gyansagar High School is located at D 246 on Mangal Bazar Road in Dilshad Garden. This is a very active market area, especially on certain days of the week. The school is right in the middle of it all. We have a building that accommodates students for their high school years. It’s a place where we focus on getting the work done. The classrooms are simple, with enough light and air for the students to sit comfortably. We have a small library with some old books that the kids can borrow. The teachers here have been with us for a long time and they know how to handle the local kids. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we spend it on what’s necessary, like repairs and books. The noise from the market can be a lot, but we are used to it by now. The kids walk to school from the nearby blocks of Dilshad Garden. We have meetings with parents in the small hallway or the main office room. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t try to be something we aren't. It’s just a school providing education to the local community. We keep track of everything in big paper ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We just want the students to do well and find their way in life. It’s a simple setup for a local neighborhood high school.
