Gyanodaya H.S. School

We have been at R-4 in Hauz Khas for quite some time now. Being on the first floor means you can see the street from the windows. It is pretty busy around here, but the school stays focused on the daily work. Gyanodaya H.S. School isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular building where teachers show up every morning and get to it. Most of the families nearby know where we are. We have got desks that have been through a lot and walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever got around to it. The bell rings at the same time every day, and that is when things get loud. Delhi is always moving, but inside these rooms, it is just about the books and the lessons. We do not spend much on big signs or anything. People find us because their neighbors' kids go here. It is a tight space sometimes, especially in the hallways when classes change. You just get used to the noise from the market nearby. We keep the doors open when it is not too dusty outside. It is just a school, really. Nothing more, nothing less. We just try to make sure the kids have what they need to get through their exams. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so everyone has to go one by one. It works out okay.
