Even though the name mentions Dhanora, we are actually located at C/72 in Vikaspuri, Delhi. It’s a residential block, so things are usually a bit quieter here compared to the main markets. The school operates out of this building and we’ve been here for a good amount of time. People in Vikaspuri know the address. We have several rooms set up for different classes. The furniture is basic wood and metal, nothing too special, but it works for the students. We spend our days going through the textbooks and helping kids with their homework. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running a school, and our small office is usually full of files. We don’t have a big fancy gate, just a regular entrance. The teachers come in from nearby areas. We have a routine that we follow every day from morning till the afternoon. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, and we have to get them serviced. The kids are mostly from the surrounding blocks. They walk here or get dropped off by their parents. We don’t do big advertisements. Most people hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a straightforward place where the main goal is just getting the children through their exams. We keep things simple and try to maintain the building as best as we can with what we have.
