Gurunanak High School

We’ve been here in Sonia Vihar for quite a while now. Most folks around Street No-10 know where Gurunanak High School is because of the morning rush when kids are heading in. It’s a busy spot at E-4/446. The building isn't fancy or anything, just a solid place where teachers and students show up every day to get through the lessons. We have regular classrooms and a small area where everyone gathers. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded during drop-off times, but that is just how it is in this part of Delhi. We try to keep things organized inside. There are desks that have seen better days and walls that we paint when we can find the time. It is a local place for local families. The teachers live nearby usually. We don't have a big glossy brochure or a fancy website. People just walk in and ask about admissions. We talk to them in the office which is right near the main entrance. You can hear the sounds from the street outside while classes are going on. It’s not quiet, but it’s home for us. We just focus on getting the kids through their exams and making sure they learn what they need for the next year. It's a lot of hard work for everyone involved. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss. It works for the families living around here.
