Gurukula - A Waldorf Inspired School

We are set up at 41 and 42 Lucknow Road in the Civil Lines area of Delhi. This part of the city is a bit different, with more trees and older buildings. Our school follows a Waldorf approach, which means things look a little different inside compared to a standard school. We use a lot of natural materials and the rooms are set up in a more relaxed way. It’s not a factory-style school at all. We spend a lot of time on things like drawing, storytelling, and practical work. The kids here don't just sit at desks all day long. Being on Lucknow Road, we have a bit more space than schools in the more crowded parts of Delhi. The atmosphere is usually quite calm, though the children are still children and there is plenty of playing and noise. We don't have big advertisements or a corporate office. It's just a group of teachers and staff who like this way of teaching. Parents who come here are usually looking for something a bit slower and more focused on the kids' development. We just go about our business every day, following the rhythm of the seasons and the needs of the students who walk through our doors.
