Gurukul Public High School

Our school is located in the Chhawla area of Delhi. It serves the older students who are working through their high school years. The building is a standard size for this part of the city, with several floors of classrooms. It isn't a fancy private academy with a pool or anything, just a regular public-style school. Every morning, the students arrive from the surrounding neighborhood, and things get moving around 8:00 AM. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep all the records and handle the daily administrative stuff. The classrooms have the usual benches and blackboards, and the walls are a bit scuffed from years of use. We focus on the core subjects like math, science, and languages because that’s what the kids need for their future. It can be a bit loud during recess when everyone is out in the corridors, but generally, it’s a place of study. We try to keep the fans working during the summer heat, though it can still get quite warm in the afternoons. Our staff consists of people who have lived in Delhi a long time and understand the local rhythm. We don't spend money on big signs or marketing campaigns. Most of our students come here because we are the local option in Chhawla. It’s just a straightforward school where the kids come to learn and the teachers come to work every day without any complications or high costs.
