Guru Teg Bahadur Public School

Our school is tucked into M Block in Model Town III. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very integrated with the local houses and shops nearby. Most of our students live just a few streets away, so you see a lot of them walking to school with their bags every morning. The building is a few stories high and takes up a good corner of the block. We have a small gate where a guard sits during the day to watch who comes in. Inside, the hallways are narrow but we make the most of the space we have. There’s a small play area in the center that gets very loud during the lunch break. We don't have a massive sports field, so the kids use the space they have for games like kho-kho or just running around with each other. The teachers are mostly local folks who have been teaching here for many years. We use a simple bell to mark the end of each period. It’s a very traditional setup. The office is small and usually piled high with notebooks waiting to be checked by the staff. Model Town is a nice place to be, with plenty of parks and trees nearby. We try to keep things simple and focus on the daily classes. There’s no big marketing team here, just us doing our jobs and making sure the kids learn what they need.
