Guru Gobind Sen. Sec. School

Our school is at 36 A, Pocket 4 in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. It’s a senior secondary school, so we have the older students here. They are usually quite busy with their labs and their heavy textbooks. The school building is pretty standard for this part of Delhi. We have several floors and many different classrooms. It’s a bustling place most of the time. In the mornings, you see all the students arriving, some on cycles and some being dropped off by their parents. It gets pretty loud around the gate. We’ve been part of the community here for a long time now. People trust us with their kids because we are consistent and we’ve been around. We don’t have a lot of marketing talk or big promises about the future. We just teach the subjects and prepare them for their board exams. The teachers are experienced and they know how to handle a room full of teenagers. Sometimes it's a bit of a struggle to keep everyone quiet and focused, but that’s just how school life is. We have a staff room where we plan our weeks and a small office for all the paperwork and registers. Mayur Vihar is a nice place to be, and our location in Pocket 4 is easy for everyone to get to. We just keep our heads down and do the work of running the school every day.
