Guru Anand Public School

We are over in Ashok Vihar Phase-1, operating Guru Anand Public School. This part of Delhi is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our school is a local place where kids from the nearby blocks come to study. It’s a simple building with several floors, and the stairs get a lot of use every day. We don't have any fancy elevators or high-tech labs. We have classrooms with desks that have seen many years of use and windows that let in the street noise. The teachers here are practical people who just want to get through the lessons and help the students understand their books. In the mornings, you can see the line of rickshaws and cycles outside the entrance. We have a small office near the gate where we handle the fees and talk to parents about their children’s progress. It isn't a polished corporate environment. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the occasional broken fan that needs fixing. We focus on the basics like reading, writing, and staying disciplined. The staff eats lunch together in a small room, sharing food and talking about the day's challenges. It’s a very ordinary life here at the school, just making sure the kids get their education and follow the rules while they are on the premises in Ashok Vihar.
