Guru Amar Das Public School

You'll find Guru Amar Das Public School over in Block 20 of Tilak Nagar. It’s a busy area with lots of houses and small shops nearby. Our school has been here for years, and most of the neighbors know us pretty well. The building isn't very large, so we have to manage our space carefully every day. We have a few floors with classrooms on each one. The stairs are narrow, so we have to tell the kids to be careful when they're moving between classes. It’s a very local atmosphere here. Many of our teachers have been with us for a long time and know all the families in the block. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures to get students. Most people find out about us just by walking past or hearing from someone else who lives nearby. We have a small paved area in front where the kids can stand during break time. It’s not much, but it works for us. The focus is always on the books and the lessons in the classroom. We try to keep things orderly, though it gets a bit loud when the bells ring. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure the kids in Tilak Nagar have a place to go to school that’s close to home and reliable for their parents.
