Gunjanu Gudde School

If you go to Sector 2 in Avantika, specifically Pocket-00, you’ll find Gunjanu Gudde School at house A-171. We operate out of this building in Rohini, and it’s been our base for quite some time now. Delhi 110085 is a crowded part of the city, and our school fits right into the residential feel of the neighborhood. The rooms are what you’d expect from a converted space—some are big, some are small, but they all serve as classrooms. We mostly see younger kids from the nearby blocks. In the mornings, the street gets a bit blocked with parents dropping their children off, which sometimes bothers the neighbors, but everyone is mostly polite about it. We have a small staff who handles everything from teaching to cleaning up after the day ends. It’s a local operation, and we don’t try to be anything else. The walls have some drawings and maps taped up to make it look a bit more cheerful for the students. It can get a bit loud when the kids are having their play sessions, but that’s just part of running a school. We focus on the basics like ABCs and numbers. Most people around here know us by name. It’s not a fancy institution with a big gate, just a regular place where local children come to spend their day and learn while their parents are at work.
