Greenwood House School

C-3/82 in Janakpuri is where we are. It’s a residential area, so Greenwood House School fits right into the block. It’s a bit quieter than being on a main commercial road, which is nice for the kids. The building is a typical Janakpuri house structure that we’ve adapted for schooling. We’ve got the regular classrooms and a small area for the kids to move around. It’s not a huge place, but it feels like home to many of us who spend all day here. We don’t use a lot of big words or professional jargon when we talk to parents. Most of them are just our neighbors from around the corner. We focus on the basics—getting the lessons done and making sure the children are behaving. The morning drop-off is the busiest time, with scooters and cars lining up briefly on the street. After that, it settles into a routine of bells and quiet study time. We take care of the building ourselves, so if a door squeaks, we’re the ones fixing it. Janakpuri is a good place to be, and we like being part of this community. We aren't trying to be some high-end corporate entity. We’re just a local school where people know each other’s faces and we get the job done without making a big deal about it. That's just how we operate our house school every day.
