Greenwood Day School & Semi Residential School

We’ve been here at 1, Ashok Marg in Shahdara for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, number 3716, right in the thick of things. People know us as Greenwood Day School & Semi Residential School, though some kids stay a bit later since we’re semi-residential too. It’s not a fancy setup, just a solid place where things get done every day. The morning rush is always something, with rickshaws and parents coming through the gate. We spend most of our time just making sure the classrooms are ready and the kids have what they need. Some of the staff have been here for years, so we all know the neighbors pretty well. It’s a bit noisy outside sometimes because of the traffic on the main road, but once you’re inside, it settles down. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the help keeping the place running. The semi-residential part means some kids are around more than others, which makes the building feel less empty in the evenings. We try to keep things organized, but schools are naturally a bit messy with books and bags everywhere. Shahdara is a crowded place, and we’re just a part of that fabric. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky taps or power cuts, just like any other building on this street. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do here in Delhi. We aren't fancy, just honest.
