You can find us at C-2/395 in Janakpuri. It is a pretty standard part of Delhi, and our school is a familiar sight for the people living in this block. We have been operating here for quite some time now. The building is a typical multi-story structure that houses all our classrooms. It gets very busy in the mornings with students arriving from all over Janakpuri. We do not have a lot of bells and whistles. It is just a place where children come to learn their subjects. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like charts on the walls and rows of wooden desks. Our staff is mostly made up of people who live in or around this part of West Delhi. We know the local rhythms, like when the water comes or when the traffic is going to be a nightmare. There is no corporate polish here. We deal with broken windows occasionally and the constant need for more chalk or markers. The playground is where the kids spend their breaks, and it is always a bit of a madhouse for those twenty minutes. We just try to keep things orderly and make sure the curriculum is being followed. It is a practical school for practical people. We are not trying to be anything other than a local place for education. It is hard work, but we show up every day and get it done.
