Greenland High School

Greenland High School is located in Kalkaji, right on the lower ground floor of building E-24. Being in a basement level in Delhi has its own set of quirks, but we make it work. It stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a plus. We are right in the heart of a busy residential and commercial area. You can hear the traffic from the street above, but once you are inside, it is all about the students. We have high schoolers here, so the vibe is a bit more serious than a primary school. The hallways are narrow, and we have to be organized to make sure everyone moves around without bumping into each other. It is a practical setup for a city school. We do not have a big sprawling field, so we use the space we have as efficiently as possible. The teachers here are used to the fast pace of Kalkaji. We have our routines, from the first bell to the final exit in the afternoon. Most of the kids live nearby and walk or take short rickshaw rides. It is a very local operation. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a place for students to study and get through their high school years. It is a bit cramped sometimes, and we are always shuffling furniture around, but it is our space and it serves the community well.
