Green Hood School

Green Hood School is situated at 21 Ground Floor, Raj Block in Naveen Shahdara. It’s a very local setup right in the middle of Shahdara. Since we are on the ground floor, it’s easy for parents to drop their kids off and have a quick word with us at the door. We don't have a huge lobby or a separate waiting room. It’s all very direct and simple. The neighborhood is tight-knit, so we know most of the people walking past our windows every day. The school isn't trying to be an international academy with a huge budget. We just have our classrooms and our teachers who work hard to get through the daily lessons. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because of the street outside, but the kids are used to it and they keep their heads down in their books. We focus on the basics like reading and writing. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big corporate talk. We just want the children to have a safe place to be during the day where they can learn something useful. We keep an eye on the clock and make sure the bells ring on time. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We just keep the floors swept and the doors open for anyone in Raj Block who needs us.
