Green Field Public School

We are over at B-1 in Greater Kailash 1, right in the heart of South Delhi. It’s a very established neighborhood, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a long time. The street can get pretty packed with cars, especially when it’s time for the school day to end. Our building isn't new, but it's held up well over the years. We have a lot of stairs and the hallways are filled with the sound of kids chatting between periods. It’s not a polished, high-tech facility with screens everywhere. We still rely a lot on books and paper. The teachers here have a lot of experience and they don't need much more than a quiet room to get their point across. We spend our mornings checking the attendance and making sure everyone has their lunch boxes. There’s a small area where we have our assemblies. It’s quite traditional in that sense. We don't spend money on big advertisements or marketing campaigns. Most of our students come from families that have lived in GK for generations. We just try to keep the doors open and the classrooms ready every morning. It’s a lot of work to manage a school in such a busy part of Delhi, but we just take it one day at a time without much fuss.
