Greatway Public School

We’re over at A 267 in the Surajmal Vihar and Anand Vihar area. It’s a pretty busy part of Delhi, especially with the bus terminal not too far away. The school itself is a basic brick and mortar setup. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. There are always people walking by and cars honking, but we’re used to the noise. The school is a place where we just try to keep things organized for the students. It’s not a huge campus, so things are a bit close together. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day’s plans. Most of the furniture has been around as long as the school has. It’s functional and serves its purpose. We don’t have any fancy gadgets or high-tech stuff, just the usual boards and desks. The kids seem to like it well enough. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily grind of lessons and exams. It can be tiring, but it’s what we do. We try to keep the front entrance clear, but with the traffic in Anand Vihar, it’s always a bit of a struggle. It’s just a simple school doing what schools do in a busy city like this. We usually leave the windows open to get a breeze, even if the city air is a bit dusty sometimes. It's just home for us.
