Greater Valley School

You can find us at E-45 in Prashant Vihar. This school has been part of the local landscape for a good while. It's tucked into a residential area, so it feels a bit more private than schools on the main roads. We have the usual setup—classrooms, a small office for the principal, and a place for the kids to hang out. The gate is usually the busiest spot around 8 AM and then again in the afternoon. We see a lot of the same faces every day, both parents and children. It’s a bit of a tight-knit group here. The building itself is older, with some character to it, like the way the shadows hit the courtyard in the evening. We don't have a massive staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from fixing a leaky tap to helping with the morning assembly. It’s a lot of work keeping a school running in Delhi, especially with the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. We just get on with it. There’s always something that needs fixing or a stack of papers that needs grading. It’s just a normal school where things happen at their own pace. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Most of the desks have seen better days, but they work fine for the lessons. We just keep the place going for the neighborhood kids and families.
