Gramoday Public School Kothar Sidhi

Gramoday Public School Kothar Sidhi is tucked away in Pocket G, 6, over in Shiv Nagar Janakpuri. Being here in Delhi 110058 means there is always traffic and people moving around outside our gates. Inside, things are a bit more controlled, though the kids definitely make their presence known during the breaks. We have some classrooms that get a lot of sunlight in the morning, which is nice in the winter but a bit much in the summer. Our floors are made of plain stone, and they take a beating from all the shoes scuffing them day after day. We aren't trying to be some high-end private academy; we are just a local school for the families around Shiv Nagar. There is a small area where we keep the records and where parents come to pay fees or ask about their children. The desks are wooden and have some names scratched into them from years ago, but they still work fine for the students. We spend most of our time just making sure the kids are in their seats and the teachers have what they need for the day's math or history lesson. It gets pretty quiet once everyone leaves at three, and that’s when we usually do a bit of cleaning. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way because it keeps things practical for everyone involved. Sometimes we have to fix a desk or a chair, but that’s just part of life here.
