Gram Panchayat Sanchalit Middle School

The school sits right here in Q-6/105 in the middle of Mangolpuri. Most days start with the sound of kids running through the gate before the bell rings. It is a government school, so things are pretty basic around here. We have the usual classrooms and desks that have seen better days. You see teachers walking around with registers and kids trying to finish their homework at the last minute. It gets quite noisy during the recess time when everyone is out in the small open space. Mangolpuri is a crowded area, so the school feels like a part of that whole rush. We deal with the usual stuff like broken fans or needing more chalk. It is not some fancy private place with big fields. It is just where the local kids come to get through their middle school years. Some of them are really bright, while others just want to go home and play. The building has been here for a while and you can tell by the walls. We just try to keep things moving along day by day. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy in the lanes outside. It is just a normal school where we do what needs doing for the children in this part of Delhi. There is nothing special to look at, just desks and books and a lot of voices echoing in the hallways. We just try to keep things organized despite the daily chaos of a busy city neighborhood.
