Grace Food Processing & Packaging Machinery sits right in Nambardar Estate over in Taimoor Nagar. If you know New Friends Colony, you know it gets pretty busy around here. Our workshop is at number 85, and it’s usually filled with parts, half-finished frames, and the sound of tools hitting metal. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or trying to get a specific gear to sit right in a packaging unit. It’s dusty and loud most days, but that’s just how making machinery works. We aren't really the type to sit behind computers all day. Most of the staff here have calluses on their hands from tightening bolts and moving heavy components around. Delhi weather doesn't make it any easier, especially in the summer when the tin roof gets hot, but we’ve got our fans going and we manage. People stop by to ask about food processing setups or just to see how a certain machine is coming along. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you’ll probably just see one of the guys wiped down with a rag coming out to greet you. It’s a straightforward operation where we focus on getting the machines built and boxed up. There’s always a truck backing in or a delivery of steel arriving. It’s a bit chaotic but we know where everything is. This is just what we do every day in this corner of New Delhi.
