Gr Grammar High School

Gr Grammar High School is tucked away on the first floor of D 114 in Dwarka Sector 3. Being on the first floor means we see a lot of what’s happening on the street below. Dwarka is always changing, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We have the classrooms laid out along the corridor, and it gets quite busy when classes change over. It’s not like those big schools with acres of land; we have to be smart with the space we have. The students get used to the stairs pretty quickly. We spend our time teaching the usual subjects and making sure the students are prepared for whatever comes next. The office is usually a bit messy with files and books, but we know where everything is. It’s a very local feel here. Most of the teachers have been with us for a long time and they know the families in Sector 3 well. Sometimes we have to deal with the usual city problems like water issues or the internet going slow, but we just figure it out as we go. It’s a practical place. We focus on the books and the lessons and try to keep a calm environment for the kids to sit and learn in peace. We don't have much space for extra things, so we just stick to what is important for the students every single day they come through the door.
