Govt Secondary School

Govt Secondary School is tucked away at Plot Number A-17 in Rama Park. If you know Uttam Nagar, you know how busy it gets around here. Our school is right in the middle of all that Delhi life. The pin code 110059 covers a lot of ground, but we are a steady fixture on this particular plot. We deal with secondary students, so the kids are a bit older and sometimes a bit louder. Every morning starts with the same routine of checking the gate and getting the classes settled. The building at A-17 has its quirks. Some doors creak, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it serves the purpose. We don’t have a big playground, but the students find ways to move around. It’s a practical place. We focus on the books and the exams because that’s what’s needed. The staff room is usually full of tea cups and piles of notebooks waiting to be checked. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and you're in the thick of it. The street outside is always crowded with rickshaws and people going to work. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more orderly, though it’s a struggle sometimes. We’ve been at Rama Park for quite a bit now. People in the area know us by the blue gate. It’s just a regular school doing regular things every day.
