Govt High School Dinarsingh Memorial

Our school is tucked away at D-76, Gautam Marg in East Vinod Nagar. If you’ve spent any time in this part of Delhi, you know the streets can be a bit tight and always full of people moving around. Being Govt High School Dinarsingh Memorial, we’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. The building itself is older, and you can see that in the stairs and the way the doors shut. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a school for the local kids. On any given morning, the area around 110091 is buzzing with cycle rickshaws and parents dropping off their children before heading to the metro. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky taps or needing a fresh coat of whitewash on the walls every now and then. Inside, the classrooms are filled with the usual sounds of lessons and shuffling papers. We don’t have a big PR team writing things for us. It’s just us teachers and the administrative staff trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the Delhi heat makes the afternoons slow, but we manage with the old ceiling fans. The location on Gautam Marg is convenient for the families living nearby. It’s a practical place, really. No frills, just a lot of students and the daily grind of keeping a school running in a busy part of the city.
