Govt High School Dabbegatta

We are located on the 5th floor of KLJ Tower North in Pitampura. Being in a tall building like this is a bit different for a school, especially at unit 502. The elevator gets a workout when the bells ring. We share the building with various offices, so we try to tell the students to be mindful in the lobby. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and the traffic outside on the main roads can be quite heavy. Inside, we have our classrooms set up along the corridor. It’s a bit of a compact space, but we manage. We don't have a playground on the roof or anything like that. The focus is strictly on the lessons. We use a lot of chalk and paper every day. The staff room is small and usually piled high with notebooks waiting to be checked. Parents come up to the 5th floor for meetings, and sometimes they get lost looking for the right door. We just point them in the right direction. It isn’t a place with a lot of decorations. We have the usual notices pinned to the boards and a few maps on the walls. Most people in Pitampura know the KLJ Tower, so finding us isn't too hard. We start early and finish by mid-afternoon. It’s a straightforward operation. We deal with the government requirements and keep the records as neat as we can.
