Our office is over in Chawri Bazar, tucked into Shiv Ashram at building 1510/11. We are in office number 26 on the ground floor. If you know Chawri Bazar, you know it is a maze of narrow lanes and very old buildings. It is a place where history feels very close to you. We have been operating here as a small family unit for many years now. The office is not very big, mostly just a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a few chairs for when guests drop by. We deal in various goods, mostly trading things that local businesses in the city need. The atmosphere in the building is always lively and loud. You hear people talking in the corridors and the sound of handcarts being pushed over the stones outside. It is a very traditional way of working. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics to keep our records straight. Most of our business is done through face-to-face talk and handshakes. We have our tea delivered from the shop down the street every afternoon around four. It is a habit we have had for as long as I can remember. The walls are a bit faded, and the floor has some cracks, but it is a comfortable place for us. We are not looking to move. We like it right here in the middle of the old city market.
