G.M. Krishnan

G.M. Krishnan is the name on the door here at Shop 9 in Somdutt Chambers 2. We are tucked away in Bhikaji Cama Place, which is a pretty well-known spot in R.K. Puram West. This office has been our base for a long time. It’s a small shop, but it fits everything we need to run the business. Most of the day is spent handling requests and making sure our staff is where they need to be. We deal with a lot of different people coming through the doors. Some are looking for help with their property, and others are just looking for work. We try to be helpful to whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with a lot of receptionists. Usually, it’s just one or two of us at the desks. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Bhikaji Cama Place always has people moving around, so there’s never a dull moment. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word gets around mostly by people talking to each other. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure nothing gets missed. It’s a practical way to run things. We like being in this part of town because it’s central and easy for people to find us. If the door is open, someone is usually there to talk. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
