G.D. Lancer'S Public School

G.D. Lancer'S Public School is tucked away in Sainik Enclave over in Mohan Garden. If you’re looking for R-3/A3, you’ll find us right there among the houses. It’s a neighborhood spot, so we see a lot of the same neighbors every day. The morning starts early here, usually before the sun is even fully up, getting things ready for the kids. The classrooms aren't huge, but we make them work. We’ve got desks that have seen better days and blackboards that always have a bit of chalk dust at the bottom. The staff room is usually where we sit and complain about the commute or talk about what we’re having for lunch. Mohan Garden can get pretty crowded, especially in the narrow lanes around the school. When it rains, the street outside gets muddy, and the kids end up tracking it all over the floors. We spend a lot of time with mops in our hands during the monsoon. It’s a simple life here. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just teaching math and grammar and making sure nobody gets hurt on the stairs. Some of the ceiling fans make a clicking noise that you eventually just stop hearing. Parents come by in the afternoon to pick up their children, and then we lock up the gates and go home ourselves. It’s just a local school doing its thing every day of the week, trying to keep things organized.
