Gate Forum

We are located in Jia Sarai at K 27. If you know this area, you know it is packed with students who are all trying to pass one competitive exam or another. It’s a very specific vibe in Jia Sarai. There are bookstores and photocopy shops on every corner. Our place is tucked into one of the buildings there. It’s not very spacious, but we make it work. There are benches for the students and a small area where we keep all the study materials and guides. The walls are mostly covered with whiteboards and old posters. It gets quite loud outside with the street vendors and people walking by, but inside everyone is usually pretty focused on their books. We spend a lot of time going over old question papers and checking schedules for the upcoming gates. The fans overhead hum quite loudly, especially in the summer heat. It’s a simple place for people who are serious about their studies. We don’t have any fancy lounges or anything like that. Just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. People come in early in the morning and some stay until quite late in the evening. There is a small tea shop just a few steps away where everyone goes during the breaks to stretch their legs. It’s just a regular part of life here in K 27. We’ve been here for a while, seeing different groups of students come and go every year as they move on to their next steps.
