Our shop, Ganga Seeds Corpn., is at No:-2751/2/1 on Hamilton Road, right by Mori Gate and near the HDFC Bank. It’s a busy part of town, and the noise from the street never really stops. We deal in seeds, so our place usually smells a bit like earth and dried grain. We have bags of different varieties stacked up against the walls. It’s not a fancy showroom. Most of the time, we are busy talking to farmers or suppliers who come in looking for specific types of seeds for the next planting season. We’ve learned a lot about what grows well and what doesn't just by listening to the people who buy from us. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory well. Sometimes the paperwork gets behind because we’re busy moving sacks around or helping a customer decide between two different types of wheat or vegetable seeds. It’s a dusty job, and at the end of the day, we usually have bits of chaff on our clothes. We’ve been here at Mori Gate for quite some time, and we like being part of the old market area. It’s honest work, helping people get what they need to start their crops. We keep things simple and just focus on the seeds and the seasons. There’s always a lot of heavy lifting and a bit of dust, but that is part of it. The seasons change.
