Galileo

I'm writing this from our spot at C-55 on Thana Road. It’s right here in Bhajanpura. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it’s never really quiet. There is always someone honking or a cart going by. We’ve been at this address, Street No-1/4, for a good while now. The office itself is nothing to write home about. We have some old desks that have been through a lot, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s our space. Galileo is just a small team of us working through the day. We usually start the morning by opening up the shutters and letting some air in, though in the summer it’s mostly just hot air. We keep a few fans going all day. There is a tea stall just a few steps away where we get our morning chai, and that’s usually when we plan out what needs to get done. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything fancy like that. We just handle the work as it comes in and try to make sure we don't miss anything. The neighborhood knows us, and we know the neighborhood. It’s a 110053 life, you could say. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we’re used to the rhythm. It feels right being here on Thana Road instead of some glass building downtown. It's just a regular place for regular work.
