Frucare Private Limited

We are based at H-28 in the Old Double Storey part of Lajpat Nagar 4. This area has a lot of character and history. The buildings are quite old and they show their age, which we actually like. We are in unit H-28. Lajpat Nagar is famous for its big markets, but the double storey part is a bit different. It’s more lived-in and feels like a real neighborhood. We run Frucare from here. We aren't trying to be the biggest thing in Delhi. We just have this one spot we work from. The rooms are quite small because of the way these old houses were originally built. We’ve had to paint the walls a few times because they get a bit damp during the monsoon season. It’s a very practical place for us. We have some storage in the back for our supplies. Our neighbors are mostly families who have lived in this block for decades. They know us and we know them by now. Sometimes the water pressure is low in the mornings, but it’s just one of those things you deal with in an older neighborhood. We don't have a big neon sign outside, just a small wooden one. People usually find us because they were specifically looking for H-28. We stay quite busy with the daily chores of the business. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking our inventory. We aren't fancy. We just do our work and go home.
