If you’re looking for us, we are tucked away in Shastri Gali over in Maujpur. The house number is A31/11. It is one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows their neighbors. Maujpur is a pretty crowded part of Delhi, so there is always something going on outside the door. Kids playing, vendors yelling about vegetables, that kind of thing. We do agroproducts, so there is a lot of talk about grain and such around the office. It isn’t a corporate glass building or anything. It’s more of a home-style office setup. We like it because it feels real. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples coming in. We’ve had to move things around more than once to make space for a new desk. The lane outside is too small for big trucks, so we have to do a lot of manual hauling of boxes. It keeps us active, I guess. We have a small team here. Most of us live not too far away, so we walk or take a rickshaw to work. It’s a simple life. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations. Most of the walls just have calendars or lists pinned up. There is always a pot of tea going in the corner for anyone who wants some. When it rains, the street gets a bit messy, but we just deal with it. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
