Flaming Mustard

You can find us over at 1249 Aruna Asaf Ali Marg in the Vasant Kunj area. It is a decent spot for a food place, and we have been operating here for a bit now. We mostly spend our time in the kitchen trying to get the flavors right for the dishes we put on the menu. It isn't a very large team, just a few of us who like cooking and serving people from the neighborhood. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or think about what we want to cook next. We get a mix of people coming in, some who live right here in Vasant Kunj and others just passing through the Marg. We didn't want anything too corporate or stiff, so the place feels more like a regular kitchen. The mustard name comes from a few ideas we had, but mostly we just liked how it sounded. We focus on the food more than the decorations. Sometimes the delivery guys are rushing in and out, which makes it feel a bit chaotic, but we manage to keep things organized. We are just trying to make a living doing something we enjoy. If you are around this part of town, you might see us working through the lunch rush or getting things ready for dinner. It is hard work, but it is what we do to keep the shop running for the people who stop by.
