Fine Engg. Works

Fine Engg. Works is based out of a small office in Dilshad Garden, specifically over in the Anant Gram area of Tahirpur. We’ve been in this space, which is Office No. 11, for quite some time. It’s an industrial sort of neighborhood, so there’s always a lot of activity and noise from the shops around us, which is fine because that’s just the nature of engineering work. We spend most of our time dealing with mechanical parts and various repairs that people bring in. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes and hands usually show it by the time we head home. There’s no big reception desk or fancy waiting room here for guests. It’s just a practical place where we get things fixed and fabricated. We have our tools and our machines, and that’s pretty much all we need to get through the day. People from around the area know where to find us if they have something that needs looking at. It’s mostly just hard work and a lot of grease and metal shavings. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we’re looking up a specific part number or checking an order that’s supposed to arrive. The office is small and usually a bit cluttered with blueprints and spare bits of metal that we might need later. We like it that way because it means we’re busy. We just keep our heads down and finish whatever job is on the bench.
