Exotica Chocolates

Making chocolates at Exotica Chocolates is a lot more work than people think when they just see the final product on the shelf. We are located at Vasant Kunj 41400. It is a nice enough area but it can get pretty hectic during the festival seasons. Our space isn't huge. When we get a big order in, every single table is covered in foil and wrappers. That is just how it goes for us. I remember when we first moved into this spot. We weren't sure if the cooling would even work right for the chocolate because the Delhi heat is no joke. We had to fix the walls and the floor ourselves to get it looking halfway decent. It’s still not a perfect place. However, it’s ours and we spend most of our waking hours here. You’ll usually find one of us in the back dealing with the ingredients while someone else handles the customers who wander in. We don't really do much advertising. Most of the people who come to see us at 41400 are just folks from around the block. They usually heard about us from a friend. We try to keep things organized. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we are busy. That’s just the reality of running a small kitchen. It’s a lot of standing on your feet. There are always dishes to wash at the end of the day. It is hard work but we keep at it.
