Nandi Exporters

You’ll find Nandi Exporters in the basement of B-176 over in East of Kailash. Being in a basement has its ups and downs; it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice, but we don't get much sunlight. We’ve set up some good lights though, so it’s a decent place to work. The space is filled with racks and boxes since we do a lot of our own sorting and checking right here. East of Kailash is a busy neighborhood, and there is always something going on just up the stairs. We can hear the cars passing by and the neighbors talking, which keeps things from feeling too quiet. Most of our work involves a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers and making sure the export documents are all in order. It’s a lot of attention to detail, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s second nature. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to keep us company while we work through the stacks of orders. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do a good job with the shipments we have. Sometimes we stay late when a big deadline is coming up, but usually we try to wrap things up and head home at a normal time. It’s a straightforward business, and we like the independence of running things from our own spot in the basement.
