Deepa Exports

Our office is at number 44 in the Community Center at East of Kailash. It’s a fairly central location, which makes it easier for people to get to, but the parking situation is always a mess around here. You have to be lucky to find a spot after 10 in the morning. The office itself is one of the older units in the center. We have a lot of shelves filled with binders and reference books that we use for our export business. It’s not a very modern look, but it works for what we do. We spend the bulk of our day tracking orders and talking to various suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we have a small backup system to keep the computers running so we don't lose any data. There’s a balcony area, but we mostly use it to store empty boxes and the water cooler. The neighborhood has a lot of small eateries, so there are always good smells drifting in during the afternoon. We have a few plants on the windowsills, but they don't get much sun, so they look a bit sad. It’s a plain, functional space where we focus on getting the daily tasks done without much fuss. We usually close up around 6:30 and join the crowd heading back to the metro or their cars. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for all of us.
