Our office is on the third floor of Somdutt Chamber No 1, specifically room 302, near Bhikaji Cama Place. It is a busy commercial area, so the lifts are always full and the hallways are usually crowded with people in suits. Inside our office, things are a bit more focused. We deal with financial information and magazines, so there are always charts and data sheets lying around on the desks. It isn't a huge office, but we have enough space for the team to sit and get their work done. The view from the third floor isn't much, just other buildings and the busy road below. We have been here for a long time and have seen the area change quite a bit. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away at keyboards. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, but we have the fans going. We don't go in for fancy office decor or anything like that. We have some filing cabinets that have seen better days and a water cooler that makes a loud noise every hour. It is just a place where we come to work every morning and try to make sense of the markets. Being near Bhikaji Cama Place means there are plenty of places to get lunch, which is the highlight of the day for most of us.
